May 13, 2005: SanDisk will showcase an expanded product range at its stand at the Photo Imaging World trade show, which opens in Brisbane today.
The company will introduce two new suites of high-performance memory cards for enthusiast and professional photographers and display a new range of Cruzer USB flash drives for personal data storage. Also on show will be some new, colourful memory cards for handheld game devices and the recently-announced SanDisk Sansa e100 range of small, portable MP3 players for digital music.
SanDisk’s new Extreme III high-performance cards are designed for advanced and professional photographers who require the highest performance. Ideal for use in DSLR cameras, they are available in CompactFlash, Secure Digital and Memory Stick Pro formats, with capacities ranging from 1GB to 4GB and RRPs from $249 to $899. SanDisk’s Ultra II memory cards, which are also available in CompactFlash, Secure Digital and Memory Stick Pro formats, are ideal for photography enthusiasts and match the performance requirements of most high-megapixel cameras. Capacities range between 512-megabytes (MB) and 8GB, with RRPs between $109 and $1,750.
The new SanDisk Cruzer USB drives represent a great way to transport and transfer all types of digital information.

New additions to this line-up are the Cruzer Profile, a hi-speed USB 2.0 flash memory storage drive with added personal security for safeguarding information stored on the device. Embedded fingerprint identification technology ensures that only designated users of the Cruzer Profile can access the contents. It will be available towards the end of 2005 in 512MB and 1GB capacities, with pricing to be announced at launch.
The SanDisk Cruzer Titanium with Liquidmetal is also USB 2.0 compatible and features an advanced Titanium alloy shell that gives it superior strength, hardness and corrosion/wear resistance. The Cruzer Titanium will be available in July in 512MB to 2GB capacities with RRPs between $109 and $229. The smallest flash drives in the Cruzer line, the Cruzer Micro, which will be available in July, includes different coloured rubberised skins that can easily be slipped on and off. Capacities range from 128MB to 1GB with RRPs between $149 and $299.
SanDisk’s Sansa e100 MP3 players, which will be released in mid-May, are a new line of small, portable digital music players that use embedded flash memory to store many hours of digital music.

The new players feature high-fidelity sound, a sophisticated yet easy-to-use song navigation and sorting system and distinctive styling. An SD card slot is provided for additional storage capacity. They will be available in 512MB and 1GB capacities with RRPs between $229 and $329.
