Samsung Electronics Australia has announced the immediate availability of its Wi-Fi enabled compact system cameras – the NX1000 and NX20.

The new models represent the next stage in the evolution of the Samsung SMART compact system camera and feature built-in WiFi connectivity that allows users to share and save their images wirelessly. Wi-Fi features include a PC Auto Backup function that makes it easy to upload photos wirelessly to a home PC or laptop, Social Media Sharing Apps and a Remote View Finder that lets users capture photosfrom the screen of compatible Android smartphone devices. Both cameras come with Full HD movie recording capabilities and both feature 20.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensors and Samsung’s i-Function 2.0 control system that makes it easy to adjust key camera settings through a single button and the value ring located on the lens.
The NX20 (RRP AU$999) features a 3-inch AMOLED Swivel Display plus a built-in Electronic View Finder (EVF). A top shutter speed of 1/8000 second enables users to ‘freeze’ fast action.

Samsung’s NX1000 (RRP AU$749) is available in white or black and features Smart Filter 2.0 technology that allows users to change the moods of their images with a range of available photo styles and themes. The maximum shutter speed on the NX1000 is 1/4000 second.
