Samsung Electronics Australia has announced the Australian availability and pricing of the NX30 Camera, which has just received the TIPA ‘Best CSC Advanced 2014’ award.

The new Samsung NX30 camera is now available in Australia for a RRP of $1099.00. The NX30 features an extendable telescopic electronic viewfinder for taking images at certain angles, swivel AMOLED display and software system that will suit all photographers. It also offers the ability to share images wirelessly through Samsung’s SMART Camera technology, which combines Wi-Fi and near field communication (NFC) connectivity.
Equipped with a 20.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and permanent electronic viewfinder with an 80 degree tilt and a 3-inch swivel Super AMOLED Touch Swivel and Display, the NX30 features a fast 1/8000 second shutter speed plus continuous shooting at up to nine frames/second (fps). It supports a sensitivity range of ISO100-25600 offers full manual control over shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation, and white balance. The new AF System II offers fast and accurate auto-focusing, especially when shooting fast-moving scenes and subjects.
The NX30’s DRIMeIV Image Processor, DSP imaging engine and OIS Duo technology combine to provide high-performance shooting with Full HD 1080/60p movie recording capabilities. The camera includes a standard 3.5mm microphone jack and an Audio Level Meter and supports HDMI live streaming with Full HD 30p output. The Samsung 45mm F1.8 2D/3D lens enables users to capture scenes and subjects in 3D.
The NX30 will be offered with the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS III kit lens and copy of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 for an RRP of AU$1099.00. Other lens options include the new 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 Power Zoom ED OIS lens, which has an RRP of AU$399 or the fast new premium ‘S’ series 16-50mm f/2-2.8 S ED OIS lens, which is priced at AU$1499.
