Samsung Electronics Australia’s 2011 has released details of three new models that will be added to its digital camera line-up soon.

 

April 19, 2011: Samsung Electronics Australia’s 2011 has released details of three new models that will be added to its digital camera line-up soon.
The NX11 is an upgraded model based on the NX10 and compatible with the new i-Function lenses. Featuring the same 23.4 x 15.6mm I 14.6-megapixel CMOS as its predecessor, it adds the ability to use the new i-Function lenses, which were introduced for the NX100. The NX11 will come with a 18-55mm i-Function lens, as well as two new i-Function lenses, a 20mm pancake and a 20-50mm zoom lens. Like its predecessor, the NX11 supports 720p video recording.

Three new ultra-zoom models include the WB700 with an 18x zoom, WB210 with a 12x zoom and PL210 with a 10x zoom. All feature 14-megapixel CCD sensors and HD video recording. An intuitive new Smart Access user interface makes shooting still and videos straightforward.

New additions to Samsung’s 2View include the ST700 and PL120. The ST700 boasts a 1.8-inch front LCD screen and 3-inch tough-screen monitor with a Smart Access UI. It comes with a 16.1-megapixel image sensor and 26mm 5x optical zoom lens. The PL120 sports a bright 1.5-inch front screen. Both models include an Easy Self Shot feature that allows the photographer to use only the front screen when shooting self portraits.
