Photo-artist Samantha Everton will present her third solo exhibition Childhood Fears, at the Byron McMahon Gallery, opening on Wednesday 17 July 2007.

 

June 25, 2007: Photo-artist Samantha Everton will present her third solo exhibition Childhood Fears, at the Byron McMahon Gallery, opening on Wednesday 17 July 2007.
Winner of the 2006 McGregor Prize for Photography, the 2005 Leica Documentary Photographic Award and the 2005 ‘Head On’ portrait prize at Michael Nagy Fine Art, Everton was also profiled in issue 16 of Photo Review Australia magazine and in Australian Art Review in late 2005. Her work recently featured in the NewYorker Magazine and will be displayed in New York’s prestigious AIPAD photography show in April. In her new exhibition, Childhood Fears, she continues her journey delving into the realms of the unconscious. With 15 works, she’s exhibiting at Sydney’s Byron McMahon Gallery from 17 July – 18 August 2007, having already showcased her work at Melbourne’s Dickerson Gallery in June.
