Measuring only 44 x 45.3 x 18.5 mm and weighing just 31 grams, the Wireless GO transmitter (TX) can be used as either a quick and easy clip-on wireless microphone with a built-in omnidirectional condenser capsule that delivers broadcast-quality sound, or as the world’s smallest belt-pack transmitter for a lavalier microphone via the 3.5 mm TRS input. The RX receiver is just as compact, measuring only 44 x 46.4x 18.5 mm and also weighing 31grams. Its dual-purpose mount sits snug in your camera’s shoe mount, or clips easily onto your camera strap or an item of clothing. The supplied 3.5mm TRS output cable plugs into your camera’s audio input or, with the relevant available RØDE adaptors, into your recorder, GoPro, iPhone etc. There is also a three-stage output pad covering 0dB, -6dB and -12dB, which makes it easy to tailor the output to your camera or recorder.

Features include a new Series III 2.4GHz digital wireless transmission with 128-bit encryption that is designed to deliver crystal clear audio, even in locations with dense Wi-Fi and Bluetooth activity like shopping malls, conventions, hotels, etc. The system can cover a line-of-sight range of up to 70 metres but is optimised for shorter-range operation in congested radio-frequency environments. Both components include built-in rechargeable batteries, which are charged via a USB-C cable and can operate for up to seven hours on a full charge.

The Wireless GO will be showcased at NAB 2019 in Las Vegas, USA which runs from April 8 to 11. Click here for more information.
