: Ricoh Australia will showcase more than 20 new imaging products at the Photo & Imaging show in Sydney’s Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre, which opens on Friday 21 May.
Digital cameras that will go on display include the just-announced 5-megapixel Caplio GX, which features a 3x wide angle zoom lens (equivalent to 28-35mm in 35mm format) and TIFF image capture. Other current Ricoh models will also be on show. Vivitar is making a strong statement with the release of eight new digital still cameras and two digital video recorders that record on SD cards. Priced to appeal to budget-conscious consumers, the Vivitar line-up includes cameras that are easy to use and represent great value for money.
The Ricoh stand will also carry a wide range of Unity Digital accessories, including high-speed CompactFlash and Secure Digital memory cards. Also on show will be Ricoh’s new MP5308 8x DVD Dual Drive, which provides an easy and affordable way to archive digital image files. A full range of high-speed DVD media will also be shown. The stand will also carry a full range of SLR lenses and accessories from Tokina and Kenko, including a prototype model of Tokina’s new ATX AF 12-24mm f4.0 lens, which has been designed specifically for digital SLR cameras.
