Adobe Labs has announced the availability of release candidate versions of its coming Photoshop Camera Raw 6.6 and Photoshop Lightroom 3.6 applications.

November 10, 2011: Adobe Labs has announced the availability of release candidate versions of its coming Photoshop Camera Raw 6.6 and Photoshop Lightroom 3.6 applications.
These applications are being offered in near-final versions that have been well tested but would benefit from additional community testing before they are finally released. They enable users to test them and report to Adobe on any issues discovered when used on hardware and software configurations not available internally at Adobe. Both applications extend raw file conversion support to five additional cameras: the Canon PowerShot S100, Nikon 1 V1 and J1, Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 and Samsung NX5. More than 30 new lens profiles have also been added.
The release candidate installer for Camera Raw 6.6 is designed to work specifically with Photoshop CS5 and will not work with Photoshop Elements 10. It is available at http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/cameraraw6-6/ , where a list of the added products supported is available. The release candidate will be valid for use until the end of January, 2012, when the final version is scheduled for release. Additional cameras and lenses may be included within the intervening period.
The Photoshop Lightroom 3.6 release candidate addresses seven issues found in Lightroom 3.5 (they are listed on the download page). It is available from http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lightroom3-6/?tabID=details#tabTop.
