August 8, 2006: Last call for entries to the Red Lens International Photographic Competition, which offers over $7500 in prizes and the opportunity to be published in Photo Review Australia magazine. Entries must be in by 28 August, 2006. As part of the prize pool the Western Plains Zoo are offering the CSU Community Education Open Section winner a wildlife shoot of a lifetime.
Western Plains Zoo will offer: Red Lens is open to all photographers; student, amateur and professional. The CSU Community Education Open Section is open to all entrants. The ANZ Bank Tertiary Student Section is open to students studying at a tertiary level higher education provider. The winner of the ANZ Tertiary Student Section will receive $500 in cash and a 12 month subscription to Photo Review Australia Magazine. The Charles Sturt University Secondary Student Section is open to students studying Year 11 or 12 in 2006 and the Youth Section is open to all entrants 16 years and below.
The Exhibition and Award Presentation will be held at 6pm on Friday 6 October at CSU Dubbo Campus. The Exhibition will be open for viewing from Saturday 7 October – Thursday 19 October between 10am – 4pm (Note: Exhibition closed on Sundays).
