Western Digital has a range of new SanDisk Professional storage products for photographers.
The SanDisk Professional PRO-BLADE Modular SSD Ecosystem features include an SSD mag that allows users to scale the storage they need, and do so from any location.
The PRO-BLADE TRANSPORT device allows the SSD mags to be easily swapped in and out depending on storage needs.
The system lets users attach the PRO-BLADE TRANSPORT enclosure to a USB-C compatible camera rig for high-res recording directly onto the PRO-BLADE SSD mag. You can then swap between SSD mags to keep rolling/shooting without interruption.
The PRO-BLADE STATION desktop system allows loading up to four PRO-BLADE SSD mags to create a powerful Thunderbolt™ SSD device.
Western Digital also announced a new range of SanDisk Extreme PRO memory cards which it claims to be the world’s fastest, with UHS-I read speeds of up to 200MB/s. The company also announced a new SanDisk Professional PRO-READER SD & microSD device.
Availability and capacities for the new SanDisk cards are yet to be confirmed.
