The release of the lens – the first RF mount lens from Tamron – follows a development announcement in April. Designed for cropped-sensor cameras, this lens is already available in Sony E and Fujifilm X mounts. Covering the full-frame equivalent of 16.5mm to 30mm, this lens features a maximum aperture of f/2.8 and is ideal for architecture, landscape, indoor environmental portraits, travel and interior photography. With an overall length of 86.2 mm and weighing just 335 grams, this lens is exceptionally compact and lightweight, making it an ideal match with APS-C mirrorless cameras. It is available to order now at an RRP of AU$1,199.
