The E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II is Sony’s 75th E-mount lens and an ideal kit lens solution for the new ZV-E10 II due to its compact size and versatile range (35 mm full-frame equivalent focal length: 24-75 mm). The optical design includes four aspherical elements and one ED (Extra low Dispersion) element to minimise common aberrations. Versatile close-up performance is provided through a minimum focusing distance of 25 cm (wide) or 30 cm (tele) and maximum magnification of 0.215x. Built-in optical stabilisation works with in-body stabilisation, including Active Mode, to minimise blur in movies. The lens also supports in-body breathing compensation. Compact and lightweight, the E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II retracts to a length of approximately 31.3mm when camera power is turned off and weighs approximately 107 grams.
The ZV-E10 II camera body is made from recycled materials, including SORPLAS15, reducing environmental impact without sacrificing functionality. It comes in recycled fibre-based packaging. The new ZV-E10 II will be available in Australia from August 2024 at an RRP of AU$1849. The E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II in black has an RRP of AU$599 and will be available from September 2024.
