Combining a compact form factor with a super ultra-wide field of view, the NiSi 15mm f/4 Sunstar lens is ideal for landscape, seascape, night, architecture, interior and nature photography. It encompasses a wide 112° angle of view with an optical design  that utilises 12 elements in 10 groups and includes one double-sided aspherical element and two extra-low dispersion elements. Ten diaphragm blades close to produce attractive 10-pointed sunstars from f/4 through to the minimum aperture of f/22. All lens elements are made from optical glass and the design features minimal chromatic aberration, distortion and vignetting. Anti-reflection technology improves light transmittance and reduces lens flare and the effects of stray light.

The NiSi 15mm f/4 is manual focus only. It weighs 470 grams and is 80.5 mm in length with a diameter of 75.6 mm. It is also compatible with the company’s 100mm filter systems. The local RRP is listed as AU$799. Click here for full details and links to local re-sellers.
