Seagate has announced Australian availability of nine new business, gamer, consumer and mobile storage drives.

Due to go on sale in mid to late July are the new Seagate Iron Wolf drives for NAS, which come in capacities up to 16TB.  Built for multi-user NAS environments and supporting workloads up to 300TB/year, IronWolf drives are ideal for home and small office NAS systems that require high performance, low noise and low power consumption. They are also efficient for everyday use such as back up, remote access and file sharing. Two models are available, the IronWolf 16TB which is priced at $959 and the more robust IronWolf Pro drives for businesses with heavy workloads, which are priced at $1059  for 16TB capacity. Available now are Seagate’s Iron Wolf 110 SATA solid state drives (SSD), the  first purpose-built for network-attached storage (NAS). Offering capacities of up to 3.48TB, the new drives have been designed with enterprise-class endurance and reliability. Durawrite technology helps accelerate reads and writes, extend the life of the flash and provides up to 7000 TBW on the 3.84TB capacity drive. Users can access stored data, share and backup files from nearly anywhere. Each drive is backed by a 5-year limited warranty and 2-year data recovery support. Videographers with a need for speed will welcome the new FireCuda 510 and BarraCuda 510  solid state drives (SSD) which are designed for the speeds required by 4K video processing. Both series are available now and feature small form factors that integrate with  laptops, mini PCs or desktop systems. The FireCuda 510 SSD drives are available in 1TB capacity for $449 and 2TB capacity for $709. The BarraCuda 510 SSD  series starts with 256GB at $139 and also offers 512 GB for $209.

Also available now are the Seagate Backup Plus drives, which come bundled with a complimentary 2-month subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan. Compatible with the latest USB-C laptops as well as legacy USB 3.0/2.0 computers, the external Backup Plus hard drives offer various interface compatibilities and they all work with Windows and Mac out of the box. Backup Plus Slim drives are available in 1TB capacity for $99 and 2TB for $139. The Backup Plus Ultra Touch Plus is offered in 2TB capacity at $139 and the Backup Plus Portable drives come in 4TB capacity at $209 and 5TB at $299.
