Several new Aputure studio lights and lighting kits for professional and advanced amateur photographers have been scheduled for release in February 2021.
The Light Storm 60D kit will be available in two formats: with a daylight balanced LED (5500K) and with a bi-colour LED (2700-6500K). Both models offer high precision adjustments with beam spread, power, and light intensity options. The light’s beam spread ranges from a tight 15 degrees to a medium flood of 45 degrees. It can be further modified by the included 4-way barn doors for selective lighting. Both models are compatible with the Bowens mount adapter and Spotlight Mini Zoom projection lens. The RRP for the Light Storm 60D Daylight LED model is AU$585, while the Light Storm 60X Bi-Colour LED is priced at AU$650.
Also coming in late February is the Aputure Amaran 100d/200d/100x/200x series of daylight and bi-colour point-source LED studio lights. With outputs ranging from 34,300 LUX to 65,000 LUX and prices between AU$299 and AU$535, these models are ideal for content creators, interviews, portrait photography and video production.
