Zhong Yi Optics has added the first L-mount Mitakon Speedmaster 50mm f/0.95 prime lens
to existing models with currently available Sony FE, Canon R, Nikon Z and Leica M mounts

The new lens is designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras and is compatible with Sigma FP, Panasonic S1 and S1H, Leica SL, SL2, supporting the complete line of L-mount cameras. As one of the fastest lenses available, it can provide a shallow depth of field for separating the main subject and background, while creating soft and enticing bokeh through a 9-bladed iris diaphragm the closes to a circular aperture. The optical design consists of 11 elements in 8 groups and includes an extra-low dispersion element to suppress coloured fringing and chromatic aberrations.
The lens boasts a durable metal barrel and an aperture ring that can be de-clicked to ensure smooth exposure transitions while shooting video. It accepts 67 mm diameter filters and weighs 675 grams.
