The new lens is characterised by its ability to shift to up to 7 mm, enabling users to have precise control over perspective in images and also the exact plane of focus in images dependent on selective focusing. Its wide zoom range covers an angle of view ranging from 102.5 to 63.9 degrees, which is equivalent to an 18-36mm lens on a full-frame camera for the Sony E, Fujifilm X, L-mount and Nikon Z mounts or 19.2-38.4mm with the Canon RF mount. By making subtle adjustments to the lens shift, users can straighten converging lines. While not part of the Laowa Zero-D series, this lens offers excellent distortion control, making it suitable for photographing architecture and interior spaces. Capable of focusing down to 15 cm from the sensor, this lens offers photographers plenty of opportunities for creative experimentation. Weighing only 575 grams its portability makes it perfect for photographers on the move. It also offers the convenience of a 77mm filter thread, which can be used when the lens hood is attached.
