Venus Optics has released its latest macro probe lens, the 24mm T8 2X Macro Pro2be, which features a new cine-ready design.
The new model is much longer than previous versions and improves significantly in image quality. It comes as a kit with three distinct lenses – a direct-view Probe lens, a 35-degree view lens, and a periscope view lens, each with a maximum T8 aperture, which is almost 2 stops larger than the previous versions. The faster maximum apertures provide more scope for limited-light shooting and greater depth of field control. Longer adjustable lens barrels enable the lens to go further or deeper, while the 360° rotating mechanism provides more flexibility and versatility to capture the subject at different positions and elevations. The Pro2be also extends the waterproof distance up to 36.6 cm and improves optical performance. All three lenses are equipped with multiple high refractive index glass and extra-low dispersion elements, providing much better sharpness and image quality.
