H&Y Filters has released a new variant CPL filter and Magnetic Clip-on ND filter range for its Revoring variable adapter ring system.

Both the Revoring CPL (circular polariser) and the Magnetic Clip-on ND filters come in three sizes to fit 46-62 mm, 58-77 mm and 67-82 mm filter threads. The Magnetic Clip-on ND filters are available in four grades: ND4, 8, 16 and 400, offering two, three, four and 8.5 stops of darkening, respectively. At the heart of the product is the Revoring, which has self-retracting blades with threaded ends that screw into the filter threading on the front of the lens. Overlapping blades prevent light leakage and ensure all in-coming light is directed to the camera’s sensor. All Revoring products are manufactured from architectural-grade aluminium and have an anodised finish to protect them against corrosion. Magnetic front caps provide greater protection and are easy to remove and refit.
German Schott B270 glass is used in making the polarising filters, which include MRC (Multi Resistant Coating) anti-reflective coatings to minimise surface reflections and ensure the best possible light transmission (up to 97%). The surface is also dust- and moisture-resistant. All the products are ready to order and ship via H&Y Filters official webstore and authorised resellers. Prices range from US$109 for the H&Y ND Magnetic Clip-on Filter 46-62 mm to US$139 for the H&Y Revoring MRC CPL Filter 58-77 mm and 67-82 mm sizes.
