OM Digital Solutions unveils OM-5 camera

The new camera is being touted as ‘ideal for those with an action-packed lifestyle’. Its body is compact, lightweight and protected with IP53 standard weatherproofing, the second camera since the OM-1 to offer this high level of dust- and splash-resistance. It is also freeze-proof down to -10°C allowing worry-free photography in harsh environments that most other cameras can’t tolerate. The OM-5 is also feature-packed with proprietary ‘computational photography’ functions that include a number of modes shared with the OM-1 camera, which are outlined in the table below.
