The X-T30 II features the same 26.1-megapixel  X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 image processor as the X-T30 but gains a new 1,680,000-dot LCD monitor along with update ASF processing algorithms and an expanded buffer memory. It comes with 18 Film Simulations, including the popular Classic Neg. and ETERNA Bleach Bypass. It also supports 4K/30P video at 10 bit 4:2:2 to HDMI and 8 bit 4:2:0 onto an SD card. The new camera will be available in early October at an RRP of AU$1599.

The XF 23mm f/1.4 R LM WR lens is a revision of the XF 23mm f/1.4 R lens with  a complete overhaul to improve optical performance. Its optical design consists of 15 lens elements in 10 groups and includes two aspherical elements and three ED elements to minimise common aberrations. The middle focusing group, which is driven by a linear motor, controls chromatic and spherical aberration, while a two-element group with an aspherical lens suppresses the fluctuation of aberration caused by the movement of focusing elements. The new lens has a minimum focus of 19 cm and a maximum magnification of 0.2x.

The XF 23mm f/1.4 lens weighs approximately 375 grams and is 77.8mm long. It accepts 58 mm filters. It will be released in November at an RRP of AU$1599. An optional rectangular-shaped lens hood (LH-XF23 II) will be available at the same time for AU$99.

The new XF 33mm f/1.4 R LM WR lens is similar in design to the XF 23mm f/1.4 R LM WR lens and accepts the same accessories, including 58mm filters and the LH-XF23 II lens hood. It also has the same optical configuration and AF drive motor. Covering an angle of view equivalent to 50mm in 35mm format, it has a minimum focus of 30 cm and a maximum magnification of 0.15x. It will be available in late September at an RRP of AU$1429.

Both lenses are weather-sealed and both feature nine aperture blades that produce a circular aperture for attractive bokeh. Both have dedicated aperture rings.  Click here for more information on the new camera and lenses.
