New features include a Magic Brush, which can be used for quick masking of areas of similar colour; simply draw a line or a doodle on the area you wish the mask to cover and Capture One will fill the area automatically. By default, the Magic Brush shares the same keyboard shortcut as the Adjustment Brush. Users can set the following parameters: size, opacity, tolerance, refine edge and sample entire photo (which determines if the mask will be restricted by edges). Another addition is the redesigned Exporter and Proofing Viewer, which simplifies the export workflow without removing flexibility and adds new functionality including a powerful proofing viewer that shows exactly how an image will look before it is exported.

Version 14.3.0 also provides greater flexibility in Subfolders (Catalogs) to provide an easier overview of images across multiple folders. Users will also find it easier to synchronize new subfolders into a Catalog and overwrite existing exported files when exporting images. Tethering support has been improved for Fujifilm and Leica cameras and new camera support has been added for the Fujifilm X-T1 IR, Fujifilm X-S10 tethering and Panasonic Lumix G99/G95/G90 cameras. Fourteen new lenses – eight from Fujifilm, four from Sony and two from Sigma – have been added to the list of supported lenses.
