Specialist paper manufacturers, Canson, has released a new logo for its Canson Infinity paper, a market leader in digital fine art media for inkjet printing.
The new Canson Infinity logo acknowledges the long history of the Canson brand.
The brand name was launched in 1801, when Barthélemy Barou de la Lombardière de Canson inherited the group from Jacques-Etienne de Montgolfier, a pioneer in the early development of hot-air ballooning. The new logo signals that Canson Infinity is embracing a new level of growth, innovation and identity with a new, strong and recognizable logo, composed of easy-to-read capital letters. Clear and modern, the logo includes the symbol of the hot-air balloon which replaces the letter O in Canson, bringing a classic, historical touch to the refreshing look. The new logo also includes the slogan “MANUFACTURE DEPUIS 1557” (“Manufactured since 1557” in English), underlining both the French origin and the year of the first paper mill was established.
Canson papers are currently sold more than 30 countries and the company is a major stakeholder in the digital fine art and photo paper sector. A new Canson Arches paper line up will be launched on 2 February, 2021.
