Inspired by the creativity and innovation of skateboarder, musician, photographer and 3LT Pro Team member, Ray Barbee, the new additions are Ray; an ultra-compact travel tripod and Bucky, a versatile tripod offering users an impressive working range. Weighing just 1.27 kilograms (or 1.62 kg with the AirHed VU head), Ray can support up to 30 kg of camera equipment. It folds down to an overall length of 34.2 cm with five-section legs and a dual-section centre column to make packing easy.

Bucky is the seventh model to feature 3LT’s award-winning five-section leg and three-section column design. With a kit weight of 1.87 kilograms and a maximum height of 1.892 metres, Bucky has the highest working range of any current travel tripod. Both tripods have three detachable legs that enable them to be converted into monopods or book extensions. They can also be used as table-top and low-level tripods and feature proprietary Rapid Latch and O-Pad technologies.

Both models are available in bronze or grey versions. Ray has an RRP of AU$663 or $863 with the bundled AirHed VU. Bucky is priced at AU$793 (RRP) or $993 with the AirHed VU.
