The new software also guarantees full native compatibility and faster processing speed for Apple M1/M2 Mac users as well as improved efficiency across the board. The Stray Hair Removal Tool makes it easy for retouchers to tidy flyaways and subdue stubble and facial hair for a more clean-shaven look. New Art Effects include tools for editing and stylising photos that enable users to dramatically change the colour, texture and feel of images through use of iconic art themes such as oil painting and pop art. The Backlighting Brush makes it easy to control background lighting in order to add depth to portraits with bold lighting effects.
PortraitPro 23 is available in three editions: the Standard version for photographers working with JPG or 24-bit TIFF files, the Studio edition for photographers who work directly with RAW files or want the higher quality of 48-bit colour files and the Studio Max edition for professional photographers or those working with a large number of images.
