Adobe’s Elements team has released details of its new and enhanced Photoshop Elements 2020 and Premiere Elements 2020 software applications.

The latest versions of these popular image and video editing applications feature the following improvements:
1. Expanded automation powered by Adobe Sensei AI technology that makes it easier for new users to get started while offering flexible creative options for Elements veterans.
2. Five brand-new guided edits that provide easy ways to make new creations and add customisable effects.
3. Enhanced capabilities for create and share memes, collages and animated GIFs for producing creative photo projects.

For the 2020 release, the  Elements Home Screen will offer new Adobe Sensei powered photo and video Auto Creations, including, Black & White Selection, Pattern Brush, Painterly and Depth of Field.

Photoshop Elements continues to simplify editing with a new function that enables users to automatically colourise a B&W photo or give new life to an existing colour photo. A new one-click subject selection mode automatically selects the subject of a photo with a single click and gives users the option to easily apply an effect or cut out the subject and add it to another photo. The Sensei powered skin smoothing function in Photoshop Elements 2020 also enables users to make the people in photos look their best.

Photoshop Elements 2020 introduce two new Guided Edits, one for removing unwanted objects and the other for adding photo patterns to images, bringing the total to 55 step-by-step  photo editing guides.

Premiere Elements 2020 comes with a new drag and drop Reduce Noise effect for improving the quality of videos shot in low light. It also introduces three new Guided Edits, bringing the total to 23 step-by-step video editing guides. One is for creating dynamic time-lapse videos by turning a series of photos or videos into a time-lapse movie that speeds up the action. The second Guided Edit enables users to animate skies by replacing static skies with moving ones that create an eye-catching effect. Finally, a new Guided Edit teaches users how to transform a vertical clip or photo into a horizontal video (or vice versa) in a seamless way that eliminates black bars on the sides or top and bottom of the screens. Premiere Elements 2020 features two new Adobe Sensei powered organisation features that help users work with and find video files faster. With the 2020 release, users can also import, and edit HEIF photo files and HEVC video files on Windows as well as MacOS.

Photoshop Elements 2020 and Premiere Elements 2020 are available individually for AU$145.19 (AU$116.59 for the upgrade) or bundled together for AU$219.99 (AU$175.99 for the upgrade).
