Panasonic Australia has released details of the local pricing and scheduled availability of its new line-up of digital still cameras.

August 11, 2006: Panasonic Australia has released details of the local pricing and scheduled availability of its new line-up of digital still cameras.

Due for release in mid-September are the company’s first DSLR camera, the Lumix DMC-L1, which will sell for $3,849 with a Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14-50mm/F2.8-3.5 lens. A “first look” at this camera can found on the Photo Review website. We hope to be able to publish a full review when a production model of the camera is available. Also scheduled for release in mid-September are the DMC-FZ50 (RRP $1099), which is also previewed on this website, the DMC-FX50 (RRP $769), the DMC-FX07 (RRP $659) and the DMC-FX07 (RRP $549). The slimline, 10.2-megapixel DMC-LX2 will be released towards the end of September at an RRP of $879.
