Panasonic Australia has announced the release of new Gold and Silver Series SDHC memory cards, which the company says are designed for use in digital cameras and camcorders.

June 11, 2009: Panasonic Australia has announced the release of new Gold and Silver Series SDHC memory cards, which the company says are designed for use in digital cameras and camcorders.

The Panasonic Gold Series adopts the new Class 10 speed specification standard, designed to accommodate future advances in higher resolution consecutive shooting and High Definition video recording and playback. The cards offer increased maximum data transfer speeds of 22 MB/s (megabytes per second).

The Gold Series includes cards from 4GB to 32GB, and range in price from $64.95 through to $699.

The Panasonic Silver Series SD and SDHC memory cards are at Class 4 speed classification, with upgraded maximum data transfer speeds of up to 20MB/s. The range runs from 2GB through to 16GB, with prices ranging from $19.95 through to $119.
