The latest version of Anthropics Technology’s portrait retouching software includes a number of new features to provide more natural-looking results and greater creative control.
Portrait Pro 12 updates the Portrait Professional 11 software we reviewed in June last year with the addition of a new face re-lighting function that enables users to improve the lighting in portraits, after the event. Version 12 also contains new Clearskin4 technology for quickly and easily eliminating skin faults such as wrinkles and spots and allowing users to smooth the skin while retaining the original skin texture. Face slimming and sculpting controls have also been improved, along with gender and age detection. Adjustments have been added to the face and feature finder and the latest version is four times faster than its predecessor. All editions are now available with 64-bit capability and Facebook integration. Automatic batch processing is supported in the Studio Max edition.
