September 20, 2011: What’s in a face? is a new exhibition of portrait photography that opens at the Art Gallery of NSW in Sydney on Saturday 24 September.
Featuring more than 45 photographs from the gallery’s collection, it includes works by Australian photographers, such as Paul Foelsche, Olive Cotton, Max Dupain, Carol Jerrems, Destiny Deacon, Darren Sylvester, with international photographers represented by Man Ray, Edward Weston, YAMAWAKI Iwao, Nan Goldin, Ben Cauchi and Loretta Lux.
