Priced at $599, it comes with versatile software that lets users create an image or data library in the form of a photo diary. The Simple Copy application ensures files are transferred quickly from the card to the HDD. It’s compatible with a wide range of file formats, including JPEG, MPEG, MP3, Word and Excel. Downloading data is equally easy and the HDPSM1 is compatible with both Windows and Mac PCs.
The software suite includes an Enhance function that provides basic image editing facilities and a Create function that allows users to add text to image files. Project software lets users construct a series of image montages and save them in a customised photo book. The HDPSM1 can be connected directly to a printer and offers a range of printing formats, including the ability to arrange a group of images on a single page for printing. Images can also be re-sized for emailing.
