Photographic Competition for Teenagers

May 11, 2011: Penrith Regional Gallery and The Lewers Bequest are hosting the fifth annual Snap Shot open photographic competition for teenagers.
Entry into the competition is free and there is prize money on offer allowing participants to become cultural producers rather than simply consumers. The primary aim of the exhibition is to encourage youth participation in the arts. The competition is run in two categories: 13yrs-15yrs Section and 16yrs-19yrs Section with a prize pool of $1200. Entries close on 15 August. Winning images will appear in the 2011 exhibition, which will run from 10 September to 30 October.
