The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) has announced the winners of the World Sight Day 2022 Photo Competition.
‘Eye Screening at Jukwa, Ghana’, by Kwame Yeboah, the winning image in the professional Photo of the Year category.
The judges have chosen ‘Eye Screening at Jukwa, Ghana’, by Kwame Yeboah as this year’s winning professional Photo of the Year and ‘Refraction’, by Laite Tuiloma as the winning amateur Photo of the Year. The winners were selected from 960 images submitted from more than 60 countries. Since its inception in 2015, the World Sight Day Photo Competition, supported by Bayer, has helped tell the story of eye care; the social and economic impact of having accessible, available and affordable eye care and the flip side.
