Keen young movie makes have an opportunity to learn new skills through the 2019 Master Your Craft competition run by RØDE Microphones.
Launched in 2018, Master Your Craft invites young filmmakers to create a short film about themselves while showing off their filmmaking talent. The winner – or in the case of last year,
winners – will be flown to Sydney, joining the RØDE team for a 12-month paid internship with RØDE’s world-class video crew in Sydney. Entrants are required to submit a 3-minute short film explaining why they are the best person for the job while showcasing their filmmaking skills and potential. The competition is open to young filmmakers from anywhere in the world. The winner’s salary will be commensurate with your skills and experience – but will be a minimum of $40,000 AUD gross per annum. The winner will also receive four weeks’ paid holiday, as well as all the other perks of working at RØDE like free gym access and regular social events.
Submissions for Master Your Craft 2018 officially open October 22nd. Find out more here.
