The Ballarat International Foto Biennale is seeking registrations for its Open Program which offers cash prizes and the chance to exhibit in one of this year’s Biennale exhibitions.
The program, which is part of Australia’s largest photographic festival, is open to all photographers and photo media artists. Participating artists will be competing for the $2,000 First Prize as well as the $500 People’s Choice Award, which is voted for by the public throughout the Biennale. An exciting range of new venues will be available this year, including Accent Framing, Ellington’s Wine Bar, Kilderkin Distillery, Lydiard Street General, Midtown Cellars, Mount Langi Ghiran, studio g.a.s. and The North Star Hotel.
