Entries will open soon for the 2020-2021 Nikon Photo Contest, a premier international photo contest that has been held since 1969 to enrich the image-making culture.
In the previous (37th) Contest, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, a total of approximately 33,000 photographers from 170 countries and regions around the world submitted 97,369 works. The number of applicants and entries was the highest ever. In the last 10 years, with the wide penetration of digital cameras with video capabilities, the environment surrounding image-making has dramatically changed. Details have not been officially released as yet but previous winners can be viewed in the Awards Archive. Information on how to apply will be announced here.
