‘Two Halves’ by Chen Wei Choon from Malaysia has taken out the Judges’ Prize in this year’s My RØDE Reel short film competition.

My RØDE Reel is the world’s largest short film competition, which this year offered its largest prize pool so far and attracted more than 2000 entries from 114 different countries across the world. The winning filmmakers spanned 13 different countries from every corner of the globe. The Judges’ Prize (as chosen by My RØDE Reel judges: Sunday Emerson Gullifer, Jess dela Merced and Ryan Connolly) went to Chen Wei Choon from Malaysia for ‘Two Halves’, a three-minute animation that was described as ‘beautifully made’. Other category winners and runners-up are listed below.
