With the opening of the 2023 Head On Photo Festival only weeks away, the organisation is seeking submissions for the AddOn exhibition, which will close on 17 October.
Now in its 13th year, AddOn is a non-competitive, anonymous photographic exhibition curated by Charles McKean and Festival Director Moshe Rosenzveig OAM. It is seen as an ideal entry point for photographers to become involved in this year’s Head On Photo Festival and will be open to a wide range of photographers spanning professionals, artists, enthusiasts, celebrities and politicians. Initially the images are shown without titles or photographer credits, viewers interpreted them at face value bringing their own meanings to them. After the exhibition, every participant receives a printed exhibition catalogue. All funds received through AddOn’s entry fees go towards staging the exhibition, printing and mailing the exhibition catalogue and the vast range of free activities that the Head On Photo Festival presents each year.
