The deadline for submissions for this year’s BirdLife Australia Photography Competition
has been extended from 1 August to 14 August.
This year’s categories include: Bird Portrait, Birds in Flight, Bird Behaviour, Backyard Birds, Human Impact, Birds in the Landscape, Youth and the special theme that focuses upon Wading Waterbirds of Australian Floodplains. The competition is sponsored by Nikon Australia and Lake Cowal Foundation. Category winners will each receive $1,000, with a whopping $5,000 up for grabs for the winner of this year’s Portfolio Prize.
