Two local photographers, Pamela Pauline and Callie Chee, are listed among thefinalists in the 18th Annual Photo Contest run by the Smithsonian Magazine.
The 2020 competition, which is run by the Smithsonian Institution, one of the major educational organisations in the USA, involved six categories covering Mobile, Altered Images, The American Experience, Travel, People and Natural World. Sixty finalists across all six categories have been announced, with Pamela Pauline having an image in the Altered Images category and Callie Chee among the finalists in the Travel category. The category winners, Grand Prize winner and Readers’ Choice winner will be announced on the magazine’s website in spring 2021, where the finalists can now be viewed.
Visitors to the site can vote for their favourite image on this site until 31 March when the Readers’ Choice Award is decided.
