The Sony Alpha Awards are open to photos taken on Sony Alpha cameras across Australia and New Zealand.

The award categories include Astrophotography, City/Street, Creative, Editorial, Landscape, Nature, Portrait, Seascape, Sports and Wedding.
The prize pool is $50,000 worth of Sony camera gear, with $4,000 worth per category. The overall winner takes home $10,000 of Sony digital imaging gear.
