April 24, 2008: Next month Philips will add two new models to its Digital PhotoFrame displays, each with an intelligent power saving design.
The seven inch 7FF2FPAS and the eight inch 8FF3FPW, which were unveiled at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), include technologies that enhance screen colour and contrast. They also feature SmartPower, which reduces the amount of power consumed by allows users to set up the display to operate at pre-set times during waking hours or restrict heavy-use periods in rooms to conserve energy.

The 8FF3FPW model (RRP $249.95) includes imagen photo enhancement technology, which automatically analyses photos to correct colour and adjust for optimal contrast. It also comes with RadiantColor technology for displaying smaller photos in the optimal 4:3 ratio by extending the colours to the sides of the screen. Users can select a random mode to view multi-image slideshows and an intuitive interface and five-way keypad provides easy navigation and operation.

The 7FF2FPAS model (RRP $229.95) is made from high-quality materials.
