Philips will introduce two new digital photo frames, the 7-inch 7FF2FPA and 10-inch 10FF2M4, into its product line-up this month.
December 4, 2007: Philips will introduce two new digital photo frames, the 7-inch 7FF2FPA and 10-inch 10FF2M4, into its product line-up this month. Ideal for showcasing digital photographs, Philips PhotoFrames have a high pixel density active matrix screen that displays rich detail, increased levels of sharpness and bright and vibrant colours. The 7FF2FPA panel can display at a resolution of 133ppi (pixels per square inch) while the 10FF2M4 displays at 91.5ppi. Both frames support an aspect ratio of 3:2, which is ideal for shots from most DSLR cameras and pictures that have been captured for printing. The 10FF2M4 PhotoFrame (RRP $399.95) has an internal memory of 128MB and comes with a software suite that allows easy editing and customisation of favourite pictures. SmartAlbum allows users the ability to zoom and crop pictures, create and manage photo albums and set up attractive transition effects for slideshows without requiring a PC. Users can also enjoy multiple images on screen at the same time with a collage effect provided by PhotoFrame’s Slideshow Manager. An integrated rechargeable battery allows users to display images on a shelf or pass the frame around for friends and family to enjoy. The 77FF2FPA (RRP $229.95) has an internal memory of 16MB and is mains powered. It is supplied with an AC Adaptor with auto on/off timer. Both models feature a solid metal stand design and four interchangeable frame surrounds. Images can be uploaded via a USB 2.0 cable or from a camera memory card.
