Phase One has released version 4.6 of its Capture One raw file processing software for Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

 

January 6, 2009: Phase One has released version 4.6 of its Capture One raw file processing software for Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
Available in basic, Pro and DB versions, the latest update improves support for the Canon EOS 5D Mark II and EOS 50D cameras and provides tethered support for Nikon’s D3, D700, D300, D200, D80, D60, D40x and D40 cameras. New cameras supported include the Canon PowerShot G10, Nikon D3X, Olympus E-30 and Phase One P65+.
Feature improvements in the latest version include enhancements to processing, browsing, folder viewing and the colour editor plus improvements to camera controls for tethered shooting. Mac users will also benefit from improvements to the load and save workspaces. A software update feature is introduced enabling Capture One to notify users if a newer version of Capture One is available. (This feature requires an internet connection.)
Capture One 4.6 is a free service release to existing Capture One 4.x owners. Capture One 3.x customers can upgrade to a similar version of Capture One 4.6 at no extra cost. For more information and to access downloads, visit www.phaseone.com/Content/Downloads/CO4.aspx.
