The smc 12mm-24mm marks the eighth lens designed by the company for digital SLR cameras. Also scheduled for release in October is the AF540FGZ auto flash unit, which boasts a large guide number of 54 (at ISO100/m). This clip-on, twist/tilt, auto-zoom flash supports key advanced flash applications like P-TTL auto flash, high-speed synchronisation and wireless P-TTL auto flash, when mounted on a Pentax SLR camera.
