July 26, 2005: Pentax has launched a new website called “digiichi”, which is aimed at newcomers to digital SLR photography.
The site explains what a DSLR camera is, along with its features and benefits and the advantages DSLRs have over compact digicams. It also outlines the main parts and functions of a digital SLR camera as well as providing technical tips for people who are considering purchasing a DSLR. Also on the site is a section covering the history of Pentax SLR cameras. A virtual showroom of current Pentax DSLRs and accessories, a Photo Techniques Workshop and a Photo Gallery will be added “soon”.
