Panasonic has announced an upgraded “hybrid bridge” Lumix FZ1000 ll and a compact 30x optical zoom TZ95 camera.

The FZ1000 II  features:
– 1-inch, 20.1-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS sensor.
– 16x optical zoom, 25mm Ultra Wide-Angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens (35mm equiv 25-400mm).
– Minimum aperture is extended to f/11, achieving f/2.8-f/11 at the wide end and f/4.0-f11 at the tele end.
– Maximum ISO 25,600 (Extended).
– High-resolution LVF.
– Assign up to 13 Fn buttons, including three new buttons on the lens barrel and five on the touch control menu.
– Auto Marking highlights images that contain movement or faces.
– Sequence Composition for a sequence of images to be shown within one shot.
– 4K Video in 3840 x 2160 at 25p.
– 4K Pre-burst mode shoots 30 frames per second before and after the shutter is released.
– Post Focus mode allows choice of focal point after the shot has been taken.
– L.Monochrome for images that are reminiscent of classic black and white film.
– Bracketing modes include focus, aperture, exposure and white balance bracketing.
– Focus bracketing allows up to 999 shots at different focus points with one shutter press.
– Aperture bracketing for multiple shots at varying depth of field.

The Lumix FZ1000 ll will be available in Australia in April 2019 for an RRP $1399.

The TZ95 ‘Travel Zoom’ camera (above) features:
– 30x optical zoom with built-in stabilisation.
– Zoom Compose Assist for telephoto shooting.
– Newly-designed 2.3 million-dot, 0.21-inch Live View Finder (LVF).
– 3.0-inch 1040k-dot touch monitor, 180-degree tiltable.
– Sequence Composition for a sequence of images to be shown within one shot.
– Auto Marking highlights images that contain movement or faces.
– DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology to minimise focusing time.
– Autofocus (AF) speed approx 0.1sec.
– Burst shooting at 10 fps (AFS) / 5 fps.
– Allows more than 26 consecutive shots in RAW.
– 4K Video in 3840 x 2160 at 25p.
– 4K Pre-burst mode shoots 30 frames per second before and after the shutter is released.
– Post Focus mode allows choice of focal point after the shot has been taken.
– 22 creative filters.
– Battery life approx 380 shots per charge.
– Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy connection and Wi-Fi® – images can be geotagged and your smartphone used as a remote control.
– USB cable charge.

The Lumix TZ95 will be available in Australia in April 2019 for an RRP $699.
