Covering the same angle of view as an 85mm lens on a 35mm camera, the Lumix G 42.5mm f/1.7 ASPH./POWER O.I.S. is ideal for portraiture. Its fast f/1.7 maximum aperture provides scope for attractive background blurring and its minimum focusing distance of 0.31m provides scope for close-up shots. The POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabiliser) integrated in the lens ensures clear, blur-free shots even in low-lit situations.

Providing up to life size (1:1) magnification and a close focusing distance of 0.105m, the Lumix G MACRO 30mm f/2.8 ASPH. / MEGA O.I.S. lens covers the equivalent angle of view to a 60mm lens in 35mm format. It has a fast f/2.8 maximum aperture and delivers sharp, high contrast images, aided by the MEGA O.I.S. stabilisation system.
Both lenses feature inner focusing plus optical designs that include an aspherical lens to suppress spherical aberration and distortion. The stepping motor makes the focusing action smooth and silent for use in both photo and video recording. Both new lenses have a high-quality metal design and mount, which is designed to be reliable and durable in the field. The H-HS043 will be available in metallic black and silver, and the H-HS030 will be available in metallic black. The scheduled release date is May 2015, with pricing still to be announced.
