Panasonic has released firmware updates for its DMC-GF1, GH1 and G1 Lumix G Micro System cameras.

 

April 21, 2010: Panasonic has released firmware updates for its DMC-GF1, GH1 and G1 Lumix G Micro System cameras.
Firmware ver.1.2 for the DMC-GF1 provides a new operation menu for the image stabiliser with an [OFF] setting added under the [STABILISER] options – but only when the Lumix G Vario 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH. / MEGA O.I.S. (H-FS014042) lens is attached. It also improves AF performance with lenses from other manufacturers.
Firmware ver.1.3 for the DMC-GH1 provides the same stabiliser menu additions for the Lumix G Vario 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH. / MEGA O.I.S. (H-FS014042) lens. It also adds AF support in FHD (full HD) movie recording mode with Four Thirds lenses that are compatible with contrast AF plus improved AF performance in movie recording with the Leica DG Macro-Elmarit 45mm f/2.8 ASPH. / MEGA O.I.S. (H-ES045) lens. Other additions include improved flash modulation accuracy and improved AF (auto focus) performance with lenses from other manufacturers.
Firmware ver.1.5 for the DMC-G1 provides the same stabiliser menu additions for the Lumix G Vario 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH. / MEGA O.I.S. (H-FS014042) lens. It also improves flash modulation accuracy and provides improved AF (auto focus) performance with lenses from other manufacturers.
