Announced concurrently with the E-3 are three new lenses, the Zuiko Digital ED 12-60mm f/2.8-4.0 SWD, the Zuiko Digital ED 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 SWD and the Zuiko Digital ED 14-35mm f/2.0 SWD.

 

October 17, 2007: Announced concurrently with the E-3 are three new lenses, the Zuiko Digital ED 12-60mm f/2.8-4.0 SWD, the Zuiko Digital ED 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 SWD and the Zuiko Digital ED 14-35mm f/2.0 SWD.

E3_New-Lens

The Olympus E-3 DSLR camera with the new lenses that will be released to complement it in coming months.
All three lenses have been produced by the Olympus Tatsuno plant in Nagano, which is equipped with the most advanced optical production technology. The Zuiko Digital ED 12-60mm f/2.8-4.0 SWD and Zuiko Digital ED 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 SWD will be available in Australia from December at RRPs of $1499 and $1599 respectively. The Zuiko Digital ED 14-35mm f/2.0 SWD is scheduled for release early in 2008 at an RRP of $3499. Olympus will also release the new EC-20 Zuiko Digital 2x Teleconverter in December at an RRP of $699.
